My practice concerns the politics of (in)visibility and the relationship of people, place and space. I am particularly interested in moments of isolation, solitude, alienation and disempowerment in suburban landscapes. Such moments are easily overlooked or ignored.
My images frequently capture seemingly empty contexts with traces of human experience; rather than the physical presence or direct gaze of subjects. In this series, Suburban Seclusion, I explore how features of household interiors and exteriors can echo the loneliness and isolation of living in suburbia.
